sorry that I wasn't in to help you you asked ... I don't have a lot of experience doing slideshows on blogger, so I don't know if I would have been of any help.
I just center all of my photos now, it seems easier. I use the picasa photo album feature and put a link on my blog when needed.
any entry can be edited by you even after it is posted.
